Las Vegas Big Dune Free Roam Adventure at Amargosa
The Amargosa dunes are so steep and so tall that you're not likely to get to the top of many of the larger ones, but we know you'll have fun trying. These are the tallest free-standing dunes in North America! One of the best parts is the huge 'bowls' formed between the large dunes. You zip towards the bottom only to race back up the other side, then turn around and repeat. This is a supervised free-roaming off-road adventure tour:

We'll show you around the area so you know where on the dunes is OK to play

We'll provide education about the protected Big Dunes Beetle to be sure you know where the no-go zones are.

Guides will show you how to drive the buggies and navigate over the sand razorbacks and how to avoid getting stuck in the deep soft sand

Then you're free to explore all on your own while our staff stays on-site to assist as needed and to make sure you're having a safe adventure.

Premium Four Seat Dune Buggy: SunBuggy Dune Buggy Adventures are a premium level service and all inclusive with no extra fees besides your Gratuity.
Duration: 30 minutes: The 30 minute chase duration and is PLENTY FOR MOST. Upgrade options to 60 or 120 min are also available for the truly bold!
Icy Cold Bottled Water: We provide unlimited complimentary Icy Cold Bottled Water to drink for the duration of your visit with us.
Nellis Dunes: Your Dunie chooses the terrain and route based on your ability, they will find your edge and then keep you on it!
Four Seat Dune Buggy: 3 Passengers and 1 driver are included in the price for a 4 seat Dune Buggy. Rugged, stable, and easy to drive fast!
Complimentary Shuttle Service: Pickup is via our complimentary shared shuttle service. Private Limo upgrade options are also available.

Check in at our Fabrication and Training facility where we custom build your off road thrill machines! You will be fitted with safety gear, watch a brief orientation video, and have a chance to use the restroom before heading to the Dune Buggy staging area only about a mile away. You will also have the opportunity to tour the fabrication department where we hand craft the world famous SunBuggy Desert Racers! Lockers are available free of charge to store anything you don't wish to loose out in the desert.
Amargosa Valley
Drive an ATV, a UTV Buggy, or a Dune Buggy and explore the tallest dunes in North America. This spot is about 90 minutes north of town, and you'll get 4 hours to play in the sand. Aptly named, at the Amargosa Big Dunes the Sand Dunes exceed 500 feet in height and are absolutely breathtaking in their immensity. The site sits right near the middle of nowhere! (Amargosa is actually near Area 51, those driving too far to the east will encounter armed security personnel) You'll have 4 hours to EXPLORE the BIG SAND DUNES with SunBuggy Support staff on hand to show you around this sandy playground ensuring that you have a great time and know where environmentally sensitive no-go areas are!! We will have snacks on hand, feed you lunch, and of course, keep you hydrated with plenty of complimentary ice-cold bottled water. This is an all-inclusive VIP Off-road adventure with premium equipment, the best support staff in the business! If you have the means to go big, go big dunes!
After returning from your adventure, you will drop off your safety gear, pick up any belongings that had been secured in the free lockers, get your souvenir SunBuggy Las Vegas T-shirt, and have a shuttle take you back to your point of origin.

You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 30 minutes before departure time.

Pickup is available from most Las Vegas hotels. Exact pickup details will be advised upon reconfirmation with the local operator. Contact details will be provided on your pre-paid voucher which will be received after booking.
