Marvel at the scenic waterfalls and indulge your senses in sweet delights on our Lake Mountain Snow Tour. Pass through the scenic region of the Yarra Valley on a 90-minute drive from Melbourne to get to Australia’s famous ski resort, a favorite Melbourne snow tour destination.
On our way there, feast on the quaint views of the Yarra Valley, a premier wine-producing region in the Southern Hemisphere. We have a stop at either the Yarra Valley Gateway Estate Coldstream or Beechworth Bakery to grab some lunch and shop for local produce, sweets, and pastries.
Take our bus right up to the snow—no need to take any ski lifts or transfer buses! Once on Lake Mountain, you’ll have three full hours to marvel at the beauty and revel in snow play. Jump on the thrilling flying fox or tube runs, shoot down exhilarating toboggan slopes, and explore the network of world-class cross-country ski trails. Get your cameras ready and take some amazing shots of the picturesque chalets overlooking the snow-covered mountain tops. Make sure to stop by the dedicated snowman park for some family fun!
Make your way to the charming town of Marysville and take a walk to the majestic 84-meter Steavenson Falls, one of the high-altitude waterfalls in the mountain ranges of Victoria. Located in the heart of the 190-hectare scenic reserve, the waterfalls have five cascades totaling 122 meters of descent, plummeting into the Steavenson River Valley.
