Our Favourites

  • Rurikoin‌——Open the gate and you will be surrounded by "fresh green". The emerald light and shadow reflected on the lacquered table is like a flowing oil painting. The summer-only "Moss Garden" is a special summer poem. (Tickets are at your own expense)
  • Sanzenin‌——The ancient trees are towering and moss is everywhere. The cute Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva hides in the forest on the moss. Sit in the "Jubi Garden" to drink matcha and listen to the stream. The coolness is refreshing. In July, the place will be full of colorful hydrangeas. (Tickets and meals are at your own expense)
  • Kifune Shrine‌——A natural air-conditioned room in the back mountain of Kyoto. During the flowing riverbed cuisine, the gurgling stream flows under your feet. Ask for a "water divination" fortune paper to soak in water to reveal the words and decipher the summer oracle. (Tickets and meals are at your own expense)

Rurikoin Temple Visiting Period: July 1, 2025 – August 13, 2025

When visiting Kifune Shrine, you can choose to walk or take a shuttle bus (one-way JPY 440, at your own expense). The round trip takes about 1 hour on foot, so we recommend choosing a method according to your physical condition.

During peak travel periods in Japan on weekends and holidays (especially around the Bon Festival from August 13th to 16th), traffic congestion is common, and some attractions may close early. The itinerary may be adjusted or shortened depending on the actual situation. It is recommended not to book dinner, flights, or Shinkansen bullet trains, and to bring light snacks and a portable charger. We apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Since this tour is a shared tour, there may be guests from other countries and speaking other languages traveling with you.

  • Regarding seating arrangements, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests prone to motion sickness are advised to arrive at the meeting point early.

  • Regarding tour guide arrangements: We provide driver-guide services (for small, exquisite groups of 1-13 people, the driver also serves as the guide, and the driver will not leave the vehicle; for bus tours of 14-49 people, there is a separate tour guide, and the actual arrangement will be adjusted according to the number of participants on the day).

  • Regarding luggage arrangements: If you want to bring luggage, please note it in the special requests. The luggage fee is JPY 2000 per piece, payable in cash to the driver or guide on the day.

  • Regarding meal arrangements: The car ride is long, so we recommend that you bring your own light snacks and water.

  • There will be walking distances during the itinerary, so please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

  • Please ensure that the communication app you have reserved can be used to contact you during your trip to Japan. We will contact you one day in advance.

  • We will send the vehicle information and tour guide information for the next day's departure to your email before 8:00 PM the day before departure. Please be sure to check it (it may be in the spam box).

  • To ensure a smooth trip, please be sure to contact the tour guide or driver in a timely manner. Thank you.

  • Reference vehicles: 5-8 seater car: Toyota Alphard; 9-14 seater car: Toyota HAICE or similar; 18-22 seater car: small bus; 22 seater car or more: large bus. The above vehicles are for reference only, and the actual vehicle will be adjusted according to the number of participants on the day.

  • The minimum number of participants is 4 people. When the number of participants does not reach the minimum number of participants specified above, the tour will be canceled, and an email notification of the tour cancellation will be sent 4 days before departure.

  • In the event of bad weather conditions such as typhoons or snowstorms, a decision will be made as to whether to cancel the tour by 6:00 PM (local time) 1 day before departure, and you will be notified by email at any time thereafter.

  • Please wear light clothing and shoes and bring your own warm clothing (if needed).

  • The above itinerary is for reference only, and traffic conditions are beyond our control. Please avoid scheduling activities for that evening. We apologize for any delays.

  • Our company is not responsible for and cannot provide refunds or rescheduling due to force majeure factors such as traffic or weather that prevent participation in the tour or result in poor quality of scenic photos. Thank you for your understanding.

  • If the itinerary or duration of stay at each attraction is adjusted due to traffic congestion or facility maintenance, please inform those who are aware.

  • The company will not provide refunds to passengers who abandon the tour midway due to personal reasons.

  • Please be sure to arrive at the designated meeting point at the specified time and do not be late. Because this itinerary cannot be transferred to other flights or joined midway, if you are unable to participate in the day tour due to your own reasons, you will be responsible for the corresponding losses. Thank you for your understanding.

  • If children under 3 years old need to occupy a seat, please purchase a ticket at the same price as an adult and make a note.

  • Vehicle type: Vehicles are dispatched according to the number of people. When a small number of people participate in the tour, a driver and on-board staff will be arranged to provide full travel services, and no additional tour leader will be dispatched. Please be aware.
