One-day tour in Kyoto: From the historical symbol of power to the poetic natural beauty, a day in Kyoto is like turning over a delicate painting

  • First, we came to Nijo Castle, which was once the power base of the Tokugawa shogunate in Kyoto. Walking into the Ninomaru Palace, it seems to travel through time and feel the atmosphere of the Edo period court. Especially the "crane-singing floor", which makes a "creaking" sound with every step. This design is to prevent assassins, which is clever and mysterious. The dry landscape in the garden and the pine trees complement each other, and the night cherry lights in spring are extremely romantic
  • If it happens to be the day when Nijo Castle is closed, the itinerary will turn to the equally historical Heian Shrine. Built in 1895, it imitates the architectural style of Heian-kyō, and the magnificent vermilion torii makes people respect. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in spring and maple leaves are everywhere in autumn. The garden of the shrine is a secret garden that is beautiful in all seasons
  • Then, visit the shining pearl of Kyoto-Kinkaku-ji. This temple, built in 1397, is famous for its gold foil-covered exterior walls. During the maple leaf season, the golden buildings and red leaves interweave into a magnificent picture, a paradise for photography enthusiasts
  • Arrive at the poetic Arashiyama in the afternoon, a must-visit for Internet celebrity attractions! The Togetsukyo Bridge spans the Katsura River, and the four seasons change to present different beautiful scenery, spring cherry blossoms, summer greens, autumn maples, and winter snows, like a moving landscape painting. Walking through the Sagano bamboo forest, the sound of bamboo leaves blowing in your face is like natural music, quiet and healing, and is rated as one of the 100 most worthy sounds in Japan Don't forget to visit the mysterious Nonomiya Shrine, this small shrine deep in the bamboo forest is known as a holy place for marriage, praying for good marriage and peace. There is also the "Yuzen Light Forest", a light and shadow trail composed of 600 light pillars with Kyo Yuzen patterns, which can also take dreamy blockbusters during the day, and being in it is like walking into a Japanese dream
  • Finally, come to one of the most famous shrines in Japan-Fushimi Inari Taisha. The most attractive thing here is the vermilion "Thousand Torii" tunnel that winds for several kilometers, as if entering the world of gods. In the early morning, there are fewer tourists and the light is soft, which is the best time to check in and take pictures. Foxes are the messengers of the Inari God. Cute fox stone statues can be seen everywhere in the shrine, holding keys or rice ears, which symbolize wisdom and protection.

This one-day tour has both historical monuments and a poetic fusion of nature and humanity, taking you into a real and dreamy Kyoto
