I'm living in Bukchon, which is a historical area with main Palaces and Korean traditional houses. As a Bukchon local, I'll introduce my town by visiting popular places including a local's favorite restaurant, pub, and bar. I'm also a journalist at a news company. While eating and talking together, you'll listen to interesting stories about the past and present of Seoul with historical, cultural, and social backgrounds.
Korean pork barbecue (samgyeopsal, moksal, or galmaegisal) is considered our soul food as it has a long history in Korean food culture. We will try it with Korean soju at a local's favorite restaurant near Insadong Culture Street. The guests are no more than 4 persons, so it will be much easier to get to know each other and talk about Korean culture and society.
After having dinner, we will walk in the area of Ikseon-dong or Seosulla-gil to see how young Koreans enjoy the nightlife. We can have a drink (beer or cocktail) at a pub or bar in the area if you're interested. (not included in the price)
You will make your own way to the meeting points
