About the store
A couple who love kimono, Japan and traveling abroad have opened a hideaway kimono rental shop in Kyoto near Kiyomizu Temple. Due to recent doubts about kimono rental shops, we are focusing on "creating a shop that customers can really enjoy". Therefore, we limit the number of visitors per day so that we can provide a memorable day not only for Japanese customers but also for overseas customers.

As a kimono production company that has been involved in kimono for over 20 years and has produced numerous branded kimonos, we do not offer low-quality kimonos or cosplay-like kimonos. At our shop, we are particular about natural materials such as "pure silk", and we have a wide variety of kimonos, from casual kimonos to orthodox kimonos and unique kimonos that you have never seen before. Kimonos for children are also available, so the whole family can enjoy it.
We value consultation with our customers and propose wonderful coordination that cannot be imitated at other stores. Time is unlimited, so let's find the perfect style while thinking together. Higashiyama's sightseeing spots, Kiyomizu-dera, Kodai-ji, and Gion are just a short walk away, making for excellent access. Please enjoy the interior of Kyomachiya, which is designated as a historical design building.
