The Kenai is known for its Trophy Rainbow Trout. Not only are they a beautiful fish but they are a blast to fight on the end of your line. The portion of the Kenai River that we generally like to fish for Rainbows is absolutely Stunning. It is tucked away back in the mountains and many times we will go up to Skilak Lake to take lunch. Weather permitting we like to use our Gloomis Fly Rods to catch these guys. Don’t worry if you've never used a fly rod before, our knowledgeable guides with show you how and coach you through the entire process. Although these are a catch and release species, we will get you a picture of a lifetime with your big Rainbow and the majestic Alaska Scenery as your backdrop.

  • Please arrive at the Boat Launch 10 minutes before your trip begins. When you arrive, there will be a $5 parking fee per vehicle. Once parked, look for the boat with "The River Crew" on the side.
