Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy)

At the meeting point we will be talking about migrations of medieval Jews and about the medieval Warsaw Jewish quarter, which was situated nearby.

Krasinski Palace

One of the finest Warsaw aristocratic baroque palaces, surrounded by a beautiful park, residence of the mighty Krasinski family, protectors of the Warsaw Jews.

Warsaw Ghetto

Relic of the former Nalewki street, with traces of the main Ghetto Gate and Ghetto Wall.

Meeting Points

  • By the Sigismund's Column in the Castle Square (20-meter high stone column with a bronze statue on top), look for a guide holding an ORANGE UMBRELLA with a British flag on top. In case of parade/protest/concert, we will be starting from the red-brick defensive wall situated 100 m. further north.

End Points

  • The tour ends by Umschlagplatz Memorial, two blocks away from the Polin Museum.
