(Subject to Option Inclusions)Are you ready to experience a traditional Turkish meal? Join Onur for a tour of a local's favorite restaurants for breakfast and lunch! Experience the taste of two continents showcasing the amazing diversity in food that Istanbul offers. You will begin your tour in the European end of the city in the Spice Market located in Istanbul Eminonu. This colorful market holds hidden places around every narrow corner waiting to be discovered. This is of the oldest areas in the city to get a drink of that delicious coffee, tracing its roots back a hundred of years. In this market you will be shown around by Onur. There are number of food items to get your hands on. You will also get the opportunity to learn and see were the Once your morning meal is completed Onur will take you to your next destination – Bosphurus Cruise. While you wait for your turn to ride the waves of the beautiful water, enjoy a moment to feed the seagulls of the Bosphurus. The cruise will take you across the Bosphorus to the Asian side, where you will have the opportunity to try a Turkish Mezze and more. If you are feeling a little peckish from your walk, enjoy a snack and cup of tea on the cruise.

STARTER - Turkish Omelet - Menemen
Turkish omelet menemen is such a fantastic egg dish made with tomatoes, green peppers and local spices. Vegetables are local from the market.
STARTER - Cheese Sampler - Peynir
Two most common cheeses: creamy, sweet (white sheep’s milk cheese, like Greek feta), and yellow kaşar peynir (“kosher” cheese, like Greek yogurt.
STARTER - Deli Meat and Sausages
You will have the opportunity to try a number of deli meat and sausages that are freshly made by owners in the Spice Market.
STARTER - Pastries
One of our favorites is a soft, buttery breakfast roll called poğaça. Another popular item is borek - filled with meat or cheese. And more options
MAIN - Turkish Mezze
Turkish mezes are perfect for social gatherings and to taste a bit of everything nice. Meze, or Turkish tapas, are small quantities of food served.

Enjoy a taste of the oldest coffee spots in the city at the Spice Market. Not a coffee fan....don't worry, tea is an option.

Additional Information
We normally meet travelers at the Spice Market at 10AM. However, if you are uncertain with navigating the city, please inform us in advance so that Onur can make the arrangements to meet you at an agreeable location. Based on where you are staying, you may begin the tour earlier.
