You will be riding in the beautiful mountains, through some small villages, various nature and see some great views where there also will be a photo session so you can keep your memories close in mind. The break will be at the local bar in Boulula where you also can buy souvenirs’ (or other drinks than included in the tour).
Times: • Morning tour start pick-up at 8:45 am (ex Bachata. Pick-up time in Playa Dorada appr 9:15 am) • Riding starts 9:45 am • 1st riding away approximately 1 hour • Break 30-40 minutes • 2nd riding back approximately 30 minutes

Drive through Puerto Plata in our safari truck. Explore the Dominican countryside on a half-day horseback excursion from Puerto Plata. Take advantage of the incredible countryside, admire the landscape and pass in front of typical Dominican accommodation that lives in this region. This half-day horseback excursion includes approximately 2 hours of hiking in the mountains, just above Puerto Plata.
Malecon Puerto PlataPass-by Only
The Puerto Plata malecon borders the Atlantic Ocean for almost 5 km. It is a place of walk very appreciated by the inhabitants of the capital of amber. A colossal statue of Neptune, almost 7 meters high, watches over the city with its trident. It was erected on an island facing the beach in 1971. A walk on the malecon allows you to admire this beautiful statue, but also the sea, the beach, the locals playing dominoes and the young people gathering in their hundreds.

We pick up from the resorts Cofresi, Costambar, Puerto plata and Playa Dorada but due to the time and distance for clients from cruise ships, clients from Sosua and Cabarete we are not able to pick-up or drop-off . That point is located by the main road at the entrance of Bergantine beach marked with a sign that says: MEETING POINT BEACH RIDE. Stay by that point for horsebackriding on the beach. If you are going for the mountain ride, that will start from our ranch in Munoz. The way to the ranch is marked with signs that says: Rancho Salvaje Lorilar and is followed by an arrow to point out the direction, these signs starts on the opposite side of the main road from the meeting point.
