The Grand Palace

The grand palace has been the major architectural symbol of The Thai Royal family. The grand palace is divided into two main zones, which are the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the royal residence. Located at the heart of Bangkok, Thailand, the Grand Palace was a former residence for King Rama I to King Rama V of the Rattanakosin Kingdom. Today, the place is used for hosting royal ceremonies and welcoming the king's guests, State guests, and other foreign dignitaries.

Wat Phra Chetuphon

Wat Pho, the official name being Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan, is the first grade royal monastery, regarded as the most important one during the reign of King Rama I of the Chakri Dynasty. The importance of this is due to the King having managed the restoration of Wat Phodharam, an old monastery from the Ayudhya period, it re-established as a royal monastery located near the GrandPalace. Some ashe of King Rama I was kept under the pedestal of the principal Buddha image known as Phra Buddha DevaPatimakorn in the main chapel. Wat Pho is an important landmark in the Ko Rattanakosin area. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful Buddhist fine arts and the existing Thai intellect which has descended from ancient times, taken as immortal careers knowledge.

Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun)

Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is famous as a Buddhist temple which is located close to the centre in Bangkok, Thailand. It is very iconic and greatly recognized as one of the mayor landmarks of the city. The temple's central feature is its prang (spire or stupa), which is gorgeously decorated with colorful old porcelain and seashells. Visitors to Wat Arun can even climb one of the steep staircase of the designated prang to reach the top, enjoying amazing rarely seen panoramic views of the river and the surrounding area including the Grand palace. The name "Temple of Dawn" comes from the stunning way the temple appears at dawn when the first light of day and mirrors the sun off its surface.
