The historic canal ring of Amsterdam is built in the 17th century. While cycling alongside the canals and crossing bridges, you will learn about the fascinating history of Amsterdam.
With it's many warehouses and drawbridges there's no area in Amsterdam where the port function and trading history of the city becomes more visible the on the 'Prinsen Islands'.
We'll be cycling through the backstreets of the famous Jordaan neighbourhood. This former working class neighbourhood is one of Amsterdam's most picturesque areas and the small and narrow streets and canals are perfect to discover by bike!
You will make your own way to the meeting points
The tour starts from our office at Spuistraat 30, centrally located in Amsterdam. Please make sure to use Google-maps and search for We Bike Amsterdam to find our office. Apple maps sometimes directs you to the wrong spot. Please be there 10 minutes before the start of your tour. That way we have time to make adjustments to the bike and explain you about traffic rules. We can not wait for people that run late so we kindly ask you to come on time. This is an English spoken tour.
