Pyramids of Giza
Our guide will pick you up from your requested location to begin your journey across Cairo. The tour starts with a visit to the iconic Great Pyramids of Giza, where you'll also have the opportunity to enjoy a short camel ride in the panoramic area, taking in the breathtaking views of the pyramids. Next, you'll visit the Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre, which served as the mortuary temple for the mummification process of King Khafre. The Valley Temple is an impressive structure that showcases the rituals performed for the royal body. Finally, get up close to the Great Sphinx, the legendary guardian of the Pyramids, with its lion's body and the head of King Khafre. The time spent at each location is flexible, allowing you to explore at your own pace according to your interests.
Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
Khufu's pyramid is the only remaining wonder of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, standing tall today! For over 3,800 years, it held the title of the highest building on Earth. The complex includes a valley temple, which is currently buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. While diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, the site remains largely unexcavated. With your expert Egyptologist guide, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the entire area in depth. Please note that entering the pyramid from the inside requires a special ticket, and we are happy to assist you with that.
Khafre's Pyramid
The pyramid of King Khafre, the second tallest in the Giza complex, is dedicated to the Pharaoh Khafre (Chefren). This well-preserved site allows for an enriching exploration experience. Your Egyptologist guide will lead you through the Valley Temple and the causeway associated with King Khafre. Please remember that a special ticket is required for entry into the pyramids, and your guide will be pleased to assist you with this process.
