Kitano Tenmangu Shrine

We take you to this shrine which was built to appease the spirit of an exiled scholar. Students from all over Japan come here to pray before the national examinations. A really special spot to feel the charm of a shinto shrine.

A former villa of a shogun of the 14th century, this villa is also called the Golden Pavilion because of it being covered on two floors with splendid gold leaf covered. Also has a beautiful garden to stroll through.
