The fortified village (ksar) of Ait Benhaddou to the west of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in 1928, Ouarzazate has grown from a stopover town to a destination in its own right. It is filled with sumptuous ocher clay buildings, the most famous of which are the Kasbah of Taourirt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tiffoultoute, Film studios, and museums.
Departure at 07:00 from Marrakech to start at the most exciting destination in southern Morocco. You will start by visiting "Ait Berka" a Berber village at 1460 m altitude. Enjoy the magnificent panoramic views before arriving at the second village called "Ait Ben Amer" at 1550 m altitude.
then you will continue to 2060 m of altitude to reach the second highest peak of the High Atlas mountains named Tizi-n-tichka pass at 2260 m altitude And then directly to Ksar ait ben haddou the most interesting historical monument on the way to the south.
