Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen

Is one of the best-preserved medieval centers in Europe and one of Stockholm’s top attractions. Located on the island of Stadsholmen, The Old Town is where the history of Stockholm started almost 1.000 years ago. We will walk by the Royal Palace, the magnificent Cathedral of Storkyrkan, as well as several museums just to name a few. Its narrow and romantic medieval cobblestoned streets are lined with colorful buildings full of restaurants, bars, shops, and cafes, where you can find nice souvenirs, or simply relax having a coffee and a pastry.

  • The meeting point is by the large round stone fountain of Stortorgsbrunnen, located at the center of the square at Stortorget in Gamla Stan, also known as the Old Town. The Nobel Museum is a few steps away from the fountain. The square is surrounded by a row of iconic, colorful buildings.
