You'll travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned private car for the 100 km (approx. 2-hour) drive to Ajanta Caves. On the way, feel free to request a toilet or snack break whenever needed.
Ajanta Caves Exploration: Upon arrival at Ajanta Caves, located 4 km from the parking area, you'll take a shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes. Your guide will assist you in securing shuttle bus tickets and cave entry passes. Ajanta features 29 magnificent rock-cut caves adorned with ancient Buddhist paintings and sculptures, and the tour typically takes about 3 hours to complete. After exploring the caves, the shuttle will bring you back to the parking area.
Lunch at a Local Restaurant: Following your Ajanta visit, you'll have the option to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Your guide will recommend quality dining options before continuing to Ellora.
Ellora Caves Discovery: After a 2-hour drive (100 km) from Ajanta, relax in the comfort of your private car as you head to the Ellora Caves. Upon arrival, your guide will purchase entry and electric car tickets. With 34 caves showcasing a mix of Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain art, Ellora is a stunning representation of India's spiritual heritage. The tour of Ellora will take approximately 3 hours, after which you'll return to the parking lot.
Return to Aurangabad: After completing your Ellora tour, you'll embark on a 1-hour (30 km) drive back to Aurangabad, where you’ll be dropped off at your desired location, concluding your enriching day of exploring these UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
