The tour will begin once the group is gathered at the meeting point and depart for the first stop for a traditional greek breakfast. 'Bougatsa' (filo pastry filled with cream) is served hot and sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon! Afterwards you will walk across the open markets placed all over the city center such as “Kapani Street” and explore famous areas like “Louloudadika”. Modiano Market
Modiano is one of the most traditional markets of Thessaloniki. It is located in the heart of the city and it has been part of the Thessalonians' life for about 80 years. Its construction started in 1922 and finished in 1930 by architect Eli Modiano.
Full of life, throughout the day, Athonos Square in the centre of the city is a place loved by, both Thessalonians and tourists alike. Here, food and nutrition plays the leading part.
