The tour starts from the heart of Florence, Piazza del Duomo, admiring the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with its Brunelleschi Dome, Giotto's bell tower, and the Baptistery.
The tour continues along the charming pedestrian street Via dei Calzaiuoli, full of fashion shops, jewelers and local artisan workshops. About halfway, you can see the outside of the beautiful Orsanmichele Church.
continuing to Piazza della Signoria, famous for hosting Palazzo Vecchio, the ancient residence of the Medici and current seat of the Municipality of Florence. Here it will be possible to admire the replica of Michelangelo's David, the Fountain of Neptune and the Loggia dei Lanzi which houses among many others the Brozean statue 'Perseus with the head of Medusa' by Benvenuto Cellini and the Malmorean statue 'Rape of the Sabine Women' by Giambologna.
