Enjoy a simple and fun fishing and cooking experience in Japan. Meet your local guide at Kanazawa-Hakkei Station and walk a few minutes to Arakawaya, a cozy fishing lodge. After a short introduction, board a boat and head to the fishing spot. Try catching Japanese whiting (shirogisu), a popular local fish (other fish may be caught depending on the day). Beginners are welcome, and no experience is needed. On clear days, you might even see Mount Fuji in the distance.

After about 3 hours of fishing, return to the port and prepare your catch. Learn easy steps to clean and cook your fish. The menu changes depending on the day, but it often includes Japanese home-style dishes like sashimi, tempura, or grilled fish. Enjoy the fresh flavors of the fish you caught and cooked yourself.

This tour is a relaxing way to try fishing and cooking while spending time by the sea. It’s perfect for individuals, couples, or families looking for a fun and memorable experience in Japan.
