There are so many Australian animals to meet so you'll want to stop for a break at the Featherdale Cafe. Listen to the Australian bird song while relaxing with a cup of tea, a light snack, or a lovely meal nestled in the gum trees!
Morning visits are recommended given that the animals are most awake in the early hours, but if you visit after lunch, please arrive by 15:30 to see as many of our Featherdale animal family members as possible

How to get there

By bus: From the City, take the North Shore and Western line to Blacktown Station. Bus stand E is located just outside the station. Take the number 729 bus for a 10-minute ride which will drop you right outside Featherdale’s gates.
By car: Take the Reservoir Road exit and travel north-west towards Blacktown for 3 kilometers. Turn left onto Bungaribee Road and continue for 1 kilometer. Turn Right onto Lancaster Street and after 700 meter, turn left onto Kildare Road and continue for 850 meter until you reach Featherdale on the right-hand side
