This is not a typical Douro Valley tour. I guide small groups in a luxury car through less crowded routes, sharing hidden gems and local stories along the way. From warm bread at a traditional bakery to a relaxed river cruise and private tastings at a family run winery, every stop is personal, authentic, and far from the touristy script. It's a slow paced, intimate day like exploring the valley with a local friend.

In Favaios, we visit a traditional bakery where you’ll taste warm bread straight from a wood-fired oven and learn about the village’s strong baking heritage. You’ll also get to know the story behind “Pão de Favaios,” a regional staple, and feel the rhythm of local life in this charming, quiet village.
At Pinhão’s historic train station, we stop to admire its famous azulejos — traditional blue-and-white tiles that beautifully depict Douro Valley life and harvest scenes. It’s a quick but meaningful stop where you’ll experience the artistic and cultural identity of the region in just a few minutes.
We take a relaxing boat ride along the Douro River, surrounded by vineyard-covered hills and peaceful landscapes. It’s a moment to slow down, enjoy the views, and take in the beauty of the valley from the water — a unique perspective that shows just how special this region is.
