Itinerary

Valle Del Bove

During our trek to Etna, we will have the opportunity to admire the spectacular Valle del Bove, one of the most fascinating geological formations of the volcano. This immense depression, created by ancient collapses and millennial eruptions, offers a unique scenery, with lunar landscapes, stratified lava flows and breathtaking views of the eastern slopes of Mount Etna. We will walk along its ridges, reaching panoramic points from which you can observe the imposing rock faces and the traces left by the most recent volcanic activities. Here, the power of nature shows in all its power, giving an unforgettable experience to lovers of adventure and photography. The Valle del Bove is not only a place of extraordinary beauty, but also a living testimony to the continuous evolution of Etna.

Craters Silvestri of Mount Etna

Our trek will take us up to an altitude of 2200-2400 meters, where we can admire the summit craters of Etna. From this privileged altitude, the panorama opens onto a landscape dominated by ancient and recent lava flows, active fumaroles and geological formations carved by the strength of the volcano. Here, surrounded by the immensity of the Etna landscape, we will breathe the energy of one of the most active volcanoes in the world. After exploring the area, the route will take us to the Silvestri craters, located about 1900 meters above sea level. These side craters, formed during the 1892 eruption, offer an incredible view of the surrounding lava fields and the Sicilian coast in the distance. Walking along their edges, we will be able to closely observe the reddish shades of volcanic rock and better understand the eruptive dynamics of Etna.
