Join the world-famous underground ghost tour in Edinburgh! Follow one of the city's most infamous figures, such as Cassandra Bean or Dr. Knox, as they reveal the dark side of Edinburgh’s Old Town. Explore the upper half of the Old Town, around St. Giles Cathedral, and uncover the grim living conditions of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
Next, cross George IV Bridge to Greyfriars Kirkyard, a 450-year-old cemetery where tales of a loyal dog, petrifying poltergeists, and the notorious body snatchers Burke and Hare await.
The tour concludes in the underground, a former seventeenth-century building close beneath South Bridge. Marvel at bridge arches from the 1700s, old walls, and doorways, all visible through a skylight. This old street has had many inhabitants through the centuries, some who haven't left despite their deaths
