Upon arrival, enjoy free time to visit the Silvestri Craters and other sites. Try to climb Etna in two different ways: • Ascent to 2,500 meters: from the Etna cable car, take the cable car up to 2,500 meters (Montagnola locality). Upon arrival at an altitude of 2,500 meters it is possible walk, hike or have a drink at the bar overlooking the area. Climb to 2,500 meters: ride a cable car up to 2,500 meters (at Montagnola).From Montagnola to around 2,500 metres, go up Climb aboard the UNI-MOG (WD4X4 minibus) to reach 2,800 meters with an authorized Etna guide. Then, hike to reach 2,920 meters.
