This is a 5-mile round-trip tour of the spectacular Black Canyon on the Colorado River. When you arrive at Willow Beach, get ready for an amazing adventure! Your guide will get you prepared for this amazing day ahead in your kayaks. Then start paddling upstream all the way to the historical Gauging Station 2 1/2 miles into the Black Canyon. You will have a chance to see all the desert wildlife: Big Horn Sheep, Coyotes, Bald Eagle, and Golden Eagle. Your first stop will be a one-mile upstream at a historical overlook that will give you awe-inspiring views of the legendary Colorado River. Your guide will explain the interesting history of what the river was used for 100 years ago and the facts of the Hoover Dam. Finally, enjoy the beautiful green waters of Emerald Cave!
