Only on our Crime and Punishment tour do you get to hear about Edinburgh's Penal History. A must for those with a keen interest in the titillating and macabre and fans of True Crime. This tour is not for the faint hearted, we talk about torture, execution, death defying acts and shady characters. You hear about the real life inhabitants of Edinburgh that inspired great works of fiction such as Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Frankenstein and much more. You'll hear about the resurrection men who stole fresh corpses to sell to the medical profession and all about the bloody witch trials of the late 16th and early 17th century. Due to the graphic nature of this tour, parental discretion is advised when booking minors.

- In front of St Giles Cathedral, by the Statue, Look for your costumed Guide carrying a large umbrella with our company name on it. Note, we do not always use an umbrella as it depends upon the weather. Your guide will be in full costume which is easy to spot.
