Learn how to cook delicious Sicilian specialties in a family atmosphere, a few steps from the beach and the sea, with a professional Chef. We will make your holiday in Sicily unforgettable thanks to the flavors and aromas of our splendid land. You will taste a thousand of ingredients wisely mixed together so as to never create monotony and you will discover new flavors through rich dishes with a scent of sea, almond, ricotta or even oil, earth, life, of something good. Discover Sicily in its unique flavors, from Pachino cherry tomatoes to the pistachio of Bronte, a town located at the base of Etna volcano. I will delight you with the taste of aubergines while you prepare a plate of pasta “alla norma”, and discover the flavors of our sea through fresh fish from the local market, and flavored with spices such as capers from the Aeolian Islands and olives born from the fertile volcanic land.

What's included in Cooking Class with Seaview with Chef Mimmo

Meet up with the Chef Mimmo at the "Ahoy Bistrò Siciliano" in Giardini Naxos facing the sea and the Bay of Naxos and Taormina. Start your experience with a wine tasting with focaccia, cold cuts, and local Sicilian cheese. After wearing the apron, you will prepare 3 traditional Sicilian dishes: an appetizer, a fish dish and six different types of fresh pasta homemade by you. And then you will sit at the table to enjoy a real typical Sicilian lunch, a few meters from the beach and the sea, with a final tasting of small traditional Sicilian Cannoli accompanied by a glass of Limoncello.

STARTER - Caponata Siciliana

Typical product of Sicilian cuisine with eggplants seasoned with tomato sauce, celery, onion, olives and capers, in sweet and sour sauce;

MAIN - Fresh pasta made with your hands

Preparation of six different types of fresh pasta handmade by customers, under the supervision of the Chef, and seasoned with fresh tomato sauce;

MAIN - Fish alla "ghiotta", or fish rolls alla Messinese

Second course of fresh fish, cooked in the sauce of tomatoes, capers and olives, to absorb all the scents and flavors;

DESSERT - Small Sicilian Cannoli and Limoncello

Tasting of small Sicilian Cannoli accompanied by a glass of Limoncello.
