Cook and eat with locals in Thessaloniki - Private group

Is there a best way to discover a local culture than meeting with locals and sharing food? Get a first-hand experience of Thessaloniki and greek gastronomy, by preparing and cooking yourself a dinner with a local! Specifically, in our cooking class: - we’ll be learning to cook 3 of the 6 traditional dishes in a relaxed atmosphere - actively preparing step by step the traditional pie and the rest of dishes! - discuss all about food: Its story and origin, the customs of the people that were cooking it, historical tips about the local cuizine etc -enjoying together our food in a cozy atmosphere! - getting the recipe of our tasty salty zucchini pie to include it back home in your cuizine! Much more than recipes, greek cuisine is also a mentality around food : sourcing local ingredients, using plenty of olive oil, herbs and spices, and of course receiving warm hospitality around the table, even immersing in local dances at the end of eating! * the class takes place either in a private home or kitchen, so please express your interest promptly!
