A timeless area, rooted in ancient civilizations: the Etruscans before and the Romans later prospered for centuries leaving important testimonies, as shown by the Etruscan sites of Pitigliano, Vulci and the Roman cities of Cosa. Part of this shore excursion will be dedicated in exploring Saturnia, Cascate del Mulino, Montemerano, and Pitigliano a genuine medieval cities 12th century. This small group tour includes pick-up/drop off from Civitavecchia with an English-speaking driver, air-conditioned transportation and a professional tour guide that will fill you on the historic facts and scoops throughout the whole tour!

TERMINAL CRUISE SHUTTLE BUS. I’ll wait for you with a sign that says your name in “Largo della Pace snc” Civitavecchia. It is the meeting point and last stop of the port free shuttle bus (shuttle that picks up you from the boat).
Pitigliano
Pitigliano is something out of a fairytale: a place carved so deep into tufa rock that you don't know where the manmade ends and nature begins. People lives here from 12 century before Christ and it is also called "the little Jerusalem": for almost four centuries it harboured an expansive Jewish community. After that you will come back to Civitavecchia
