On this tour we travel through the 2000 years of London's history from the days of the Roman invasion to present day.
We will see many of the iconic buildings and places which have played a major role in shaping this part of London - The Tower of London, St Paul's Cathedral, The Monument to the Great Fire and hear how the financial centre has grown over the past 20 years. We also visit some places where most tours do not go. Private rooms and cellars and ancient pubs tucked away beneath the towering skyscrapers.
There are many opportunities to pause to take photos and on certain days there will be guest speakers who will relate more stories of the history of these places. Lunch can taken in a typical London coffee house or cafe or in a local pub.
