Known as the “Temple of the Big Stupa”, this 700+ year old temple – famous for its Lanna-inspired designs – was once the home of the much revered statue of the Emerald Buddha. After it was transferred to Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok, the Thai king donated a replica to the temple which still stands today.
