Join us on a tour that celebrates the vibrant art district of Chelsea, from the High-line to the galleries, with an artistic, architectural, and historic point of view.

This two hour tour focuses on world's most exciting art scene, home of the very best in contemporary art. A walk on the High-Line reveals a rich program of public art, made by acclaimed artists. We will focus on selected works, along with the park's history, design and the architecture around. We will also walk over the gallery quarter of NYC, located just below. We will visit some the most talked about shows on display, and uncover the stories behind the scene, artists’ biographies, work methods and different interpretations.

ART - We will stroll through the promenade, starting at its southern point to its northern point, during which we'll make a stop to look at some fascinating pieces of art accompanied with explaining about the artists, and work process.

ARCHITECTURE - We will point at contemporary buildings which are the spearhead of architecture nowadays, we'll hear about the brilliant architectural design of the High Line and its breathtaking landscape.

HISTORY - We will be exposed to the fascinating history of the High Line and how it came about through an initiative of two young men who decided to start a public fight against the plan to demolish the abandoned railroads at the beginning of the 2000s, and proposed to turn it into a public park instead.
