If you’re looking to experience another side of the Champagne industry, go on a tour that’ll take you to 2 Champagne Grower's Family Estates. Watch how they maintain the champagne tradition, then take your tongue on a journey to taste some of the cuvées.
As you drive through the City of Reims, your guide will show you places such as the Cathedral, Roman Oratary Ruins, and the 13th-century Notre-Dame de Reims. You'll also see the Reims Mountain vineyards as you head for a stop at a family estate for some Champagne tasting. Then, continue on to Hautvillers to learn about Dom Perignon, the Champagne Wine's Spiritual Father.
Stop for lunch before continuing to Avenue de Champagne in Epernay to visit the street that features popular Champagne houses such as Moët & Chandon, Perrier-Jouet, and Mercier. Then, stop by another family estate for a champagne tasting before ending the tour back where you started.
Take the Tram A/B and stop at Gare Centrale. It's a short walk from there. Refer to the map for directions
