During your Quest you will not only discover the city's highlights but explore hidden gems, learn some fun facts about the places you visit and see things that most people just pass by.
As the activity is all self-guided through the app, you can start your Quest when you want (must be played during daylight hours), there are no set starting/ending times. No groups to follow.
You can go at your own pace, stopping for longer in one location, taking a break or having a snack in one of the many cafes and pubs along the trail OR you can make it a race and try to get to the top of the city leaderboard!

Unlock a hidden trail by finding clues, solving puzzles and completing team challenges, earning points along the way all self-guided through the Go Quest Adventures app. See the city's highlights, explore it's hidden gems and learn some fun facts along the way. * Start your Quest whenever you want, get instant access with nothing to print off from home * Go as fast as you want and try to top the leaderboard, or go at your own pace, stopping for rest breaks along the way. Your Quest will start at the Water Tower sculpture in front of the Roald Dahl Plass and wind you around the bay, through Mermaid Quay and end you back at your original location. During your Quest see some beautiful artwork, learn about the history of the area and discover a famous chef. And fans of the series Torchwood won’t be disappointed either as you leave a memento to one of TV shows most loved characters. So grab some Welsh cakes (you may need a snack), put on some comfy shoes and get ready to explore the sights, discover hidden gems and ultimately, conquer your Cardiff Bay Quest! - Your self-guided Quest will begin in front of the Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay. You can start your Quest at any time, however, we do suggest you play during daylight hours so you can find the clues along the way.

Ticket Redemption
TO ACCESS YOUR QUEST, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING: Your Redemption Code can be found under the Bar Code on your ticket. It will begin with the letters RC. Starting Location: Cardiff Bay - Water Tower Sculpture (What 3 Words ///rocks.output.herb) Ending Location: Your Quest will return you to the same location. Things To Bring With You: • Fully charged mobile device! It might be a good idea to bring a charger or battery pack with you just in case. • Paper and pen to help you work out puzzles. • Comfortable shoes and weather appropriate clothing (it is an outdoor adventure). • We’ve added what3words addresses within the app to make it easier to find Quest locations when using map hints. It may be helpful to download this app however, it is not required. To Redeem Your Code: Each team member needs to download the Go Quest Adventure app and create a profile. You can find the App both on the App Store and the GooglePlay Store. Choose a Quest Leader who will be responsible for inputting answers into the app. Once inside the app, click ADD QUEST from the Your Quests page. Enter the Redemption Code and the Quest will be added to Your Quests page. Open the Quest and follow the instructions. Add Players: Quest Leaders can invite other players to have read only access to the game to play along. Team players should click on ADD QUEST on their own device and then enter the code that will be displayed on the Quest Leader’s mobile device once inside the game.
