Today, it’s a peaceful nature reserve rich in wildlife, scenic viewpoints, and maritime history.
Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
Visit the charming seaside town of Simon’s Town, home to one of the world’s few land-based colonies of endangered African Penguins. At Boulders Beach, we’ll get close enough to observe and photograph these curious, comical birds in their natural habitat. Jim will share fascinating insights about their behavior, conservation status, and what’s happening in the colony during the current season.
