Itinerary

Calamosca Beach

Calamosca beach lies in a beautiful bay enclosed between two imposing promontories. To the east stands Capo Sant'Elia, dominated by an ancient Spanish tower later converted into a lighthouse, while to the west stands the striking Sella del Diavolo (Devil's Saddle), so called because of its unique shape. The bay's crystal-clear sea, with hues ranging from emerald green to azure, will leave you breathless.

Sella del Diavolo

The Sella del Diavolo (Devil's Saddle) is one of the most fascinating symbols of Cagliari, located on the southern coast of Sardinia. This promontory, so called because of its characteristic shape, is linked to a legend that tells of Lucifer's fall during a battle between angels and demons for possession of the Gulf of Angels. Its striking silhouette dominates the landscape and offers spectacular views of the crystal clear sea and the city. Today it is a popular destination for hikers, thanks to its scenic paths through the Mediterranean maquis, leading to ancient ruins and breathtaking viewpoints.

Poetto

The sea at Poetto is limpid and has hues ranging from turquoise to deep blue. The calm, transparent waters invite one to swim or take long walks along the shore, with a gradually sloping seabed. Along the coast, the sea breaks gently on the fine sand.
