A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. We begin at Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach. We then pass the stunning Bondi Icebergs swimming club – one of Australia’s most photographed pools – onto a paved path that will take you round the headland. At Mark’s Park, you can marvel at 2,000 year old traditional Aboriginal rock carvings, before continuing on to Tamarama Beach. We then follow the coastline to Bronte Beach. Bronte also has a beautiful ocean pool at the southern end of the beach, and a natural sheltered rock pool called the Bogey Hole. We then continue on from Bronte along the track that passes Calga Reserve. From here we walk past the heritage listed Waverly Cemetery, which is the resting place of many prominent Australians. We end this beautiful hike at Coogee Bay Hotel for a well-earned lunch.
