Mount Monserrate

You can head to Monserrate Sanctuary, located within the imposing eastern hills of the city at an altitude of 3150MASL. Ascending to the top of the mountain by cable car, you’ll reach the most notorious pilgrimage point of the city with an incredible view of the capital. This is a great spot to make a historical and spatial contextualization of the city.

Barrio La Candelaria

You can also choose to wander through the picturesque cobblestone streets of La Candelaria. This includes a visit to the famous Botero Museum, which holds the works of this eccentric artist who has become the icon of Colombian contemporary art. Afterward, you’ll stop at Chorro de Quevedo to appreciate the diverse contrasts that the historical center offers and learn more about Bogotá's history.
