Chen Clan Ancestral Hall
Local expert guide will pick you up from your centrally located Guangzhou hotel at around 8:30 - 9:30 am, sit in a comfortable coach to join in this Guangzhou city highlights trip. Visit the Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family famed for its exquisite craftsmanship including wood, stone, and brick carving, and metalwork using copper and iron. Admire the most characteristic Guangdong architecture and learn its history. Move on to explore the European style buildings on Shamian Island, which used to be the concession area in the 19th century, walk around to enjoy the quiet and beautiful environment.
Yuexiu Park
Later have lunch in a nice local restaurant, and continue sightseeing Yuexiu Park, which is the largest park in the city, and famous for its beautiful scenery and its large number of historical relics such as the Five-Ram Sculpture, Zhenhai Tower. Marvel at the Five-Ram Sculpture carved from 130 pieces of granite and the Five-Storied Pagoda Zhenhai Tower. Your last stop is the 1400 years old Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, one of the four best Buddhist temples in Guangzhou with a rich collection of cultural-relics. After that, the guide will transfer you back to the hotel to conclude the Guangzhou highlights trip.
