Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
At around 6:30 – 8:00 am, the guide will pick you up from your Beijing downtown hotel lobby, join in the group to visit the highlights of Mutianyu Great Wall and Forbidden City in Beijing. Firstly visit the best-preserved imperial palace complex of Forbidden City, which functioned as the administrative center of the country for five centuries. Be amazed by the exquisite architecture and learn the ancient philosophy and history. Then have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory to shop and learn the unique carving craft.
Mutianyu Great Wall
Later have a break for lunch at local restaurant, continue sightseeing to the Mutianyu Great Wall famous for its strategically important location and the beautiful scenery. Hike along the ancient bricks to see stunning views, witness the tensely distributed watchtowers and take amazing photos of the Great Wall. On the way back to hotel, you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional medicine culture, then have drop off at your hotel to conclude the trip.
