Enjoy magnificent views of Clew Bay and its enchanting islands on horse back along the beach, with Croagh Patrick, ireland's holy pilgrimage mountain in the background. These rides cater for those with little or no experience. Instruction in the arena is given before setting out for a gentle walk on the quiet roads of Carrowholly which lead to the open strands of Clew Bay. . When passing by “The Seals Rock” try not to disturb the seals as they bask on the rocks. As you ride along the shore line you will see Dora Inch Island formerly owned by John Lennon of the Beatles fame. These rides introduce the riders to horse-riding and are a wonderful way to experience the magnificent coastline of Clew Bay. This trek is suitable for beginner to advanced riders. There will be a short assessment before leaving with up to 2 guides depending on the number in the group and the level of experience. Available every day of the year.

Meet time: As indicated on the ticket above. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time to prepare for the ride. Ride will leave promptly and not wait for late comers. Please note: No refunds for late comers. Please advise each riders height (inches or cms ), weight (lbs or kgs) and experience level (advanced, intermediate or beginner) so as we can have a suitable horse tacked up for your arrival. What to bring: water and sustenance, warm clothing, sun block, sun glasses and hat in case the weather is good. What to wear: Clothing suitable for riding. It is advisable to bring appropriate warm, rain & windproof gear as weather is very changeable. Safety: Please wear helmet provided and adhere to guides instructions.
