Enjoy a half day tour of Alice Springs and learn how the town right in the middle of Australia's red centre has become one of its most iconic attractions. In one afternoon, you will start off your tour with a pick up from your hotel in Alice Springs. Your first stop will be The School of the Air, a place where children that are unable to go to school access education through radio programs broadcasting across 1.3 million square kilometers. Next, you will stop in at the historic Telegraph Station which is the original site of the first European settlement in Alice Springs. Your tour will continue to the Royal Flying Doctors Service and you will get insight on how medical aid reaches those who live in the remote Australian outback. Afterwards, you will visit Alice Springs Reptile Centre to get up close and personal with the various species of lizards and snakes that frequent the desert of Central Australia. Last but not least, your final stop before returning back to your hotel will be the top of Anzac Hill, which offers a stunning panoramic view of Alice Springs and MacDonnell Ranges.
