Dynamic natural beauty. One of Japan's largest limestone caves
Located 100m underground in Akiyoshidai Quasi-National Park, Akiyoshido Cave is designated as a special natural monument. The total length of the cave is over 10km, and on the tourist course that stretches for about 1km, you can see many natural beauties that have been created over many years. The "Hyakumaizara" (100 plates) that resemble rice terraces are a spectacular sight that is sure to make a great photo. In addition, on the "Adventure Course", you can enjoy thrilling exploration by climbing ladders with a flashlight in one hand and slipping between stalactites. (Additional charge) The temperature inside the cave is constant at 17°C throughout the four seasons, making it cool in summer and warm in winter, so you can enjoy sightseeing comfortably even on rainy days.
