Agafay
About 20 km from Marrakech, the desert of Agafay is the big unknown tourist interest. A large arid region with white ripples over hundreds of hectares, which could be taken for sand dunes but which are in fact a succession of whitish hills reminding our distant and inaccessible Erg. An amazing sight at the gates of the red city. On the way, the massif of the High Atlas stands out as a backdrop while we may meet here or there a muleteer or a small oasis where some families continue to occupy this land austere but so beautiful.
Lalla Takerkoust
Enjoy some off the beaten track drive to the lake of Lalla Takerkoust where you will stop to enjoy the view and take photos.
Plateau du Kik
Next stop at the slopes of the Atlas Mountains before you continue your drive through the mountainous tiny roads to Kik Plateau admiring the views of Berber villages scattered left and right. A generous Berber lady will welcome our guests for a tea ceremony in her modest raw brick house. She will bake homemade bread served with an extra virgin olive oil.
