Frenchman's Rock Penneshaw
After getting off the ferry at 10am, find your land legs as we pop in to see Frenchman's Rock, which was inscribed by the members of Nicolas Baudin's crew on the ship Le Geographe in 1803 on their expedition to map the coast of New Holland (now Australia). They stopped at the bay to collect meat and fresh water. Baudin and his crew stayed for 3 weeks and during that time, he mapped the island and collected many flora and fauna specimens. Baudin and his men announced their arrival to the island by inscribing the rock. The inscription reads: "Expedition de decourverte par le commandant Baudin sur le Geographe 1803". The English translation is "Expedition of discovery by Captain Baudin in the Geographe 1803"

Pick-up times will be coordinated according to location of the hotel. Pick-up will begin from 6am and last pick-up will be 6:30am. Exact pick-up time for your hotel will be confirmed 1 day before the booked tour commences. Be ready to board 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. Look for our minibus with business logo and your wonderful guide wearing the uniform with logo, who will park out the front of your hotel to pick you up. Luggage space is limited so passengers will need to bring a carry-on size bag only.
