Accra City Tour will introduce you the the hustle and bustle of the Capital City of Ghana, whiles familiarize yourself with Accra and Ghanaian history and culture with this 5 hour tour of the capital city. You'll visit Black Star Square, the Osu Castle, and the old British part of town, JamesTown along with Makola Market and Kwame Nkrumah's Memorial Park and Museum. Your local driver/guide will be on hand to answer questions and provide context as you go from sight to sight.

Makola Market was constructed in Accra in 1924 and stood at the heart of the urban Ghanaian life. This market is the main wholesale and retail marketplace in Accra, the epicenter of trade in the country and one of the nation's most important social and cultural institutions.
The Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, also known as the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park (KNMP) in Ghana is the final resting place of the first President of the republic of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. It is dedicated to him for his relentless and dauntless campaign to liberate Ghana.
We will end our tour at the art center where participants will be allowed to shop for souvenirs.
