Suez
Once we come to pick you up from your hotel, we will leave Cairo heading north. We will make our first stop in Ismailía. This city was founded in the second half of the 19th century as an operations center to coordinate the works of the nearby Suez Canal. After taking a short panoramic tour of Ismailía we will go to the banks of the Suez Canal. While we move to its shore we will know the history of this great infrastructure that allows the passage from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea without the need to border the entire African continent. After learning new anecdotes and curiosities about the history of the Suez Canal and the works that allowed its construction, we will enjoy a typical Egyptian lunch in a restaurant overlooking the canal. Once the forces are restored, we will undertake the return to Cairo.
