Lawrence's Spring

Lawrence’s Spring: (also known as Ain Abu Aineh) is a small natural spring nestled in the heart of Wadi Rum desert in southern Jordan. It is famously linked to the British officer "Lawrence of Arabia," who played a key role in the Great Arab Revolt. The spring flows from between the rocks on the side of a mountain, and it’s said that Lawrence would stop here to rest and fill his water bag during his desert journeys. Reaching the spring requires a short hike over the rocks, and at the top, visitors are rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of Wadi Rum. Though simple, Lawrence’s Spring carries a legendary and historical charm, making it a popular stop for those seeking to experience the beauty of nature alongside tales of desert adventure. From this point, you can also enjoy an optional 30-minute camel ride—adding an authentic Bedouin touch to your journey and letting you travel across the sands and rocks just like our Bedouin ancestors once did
