What's included in 2-Hour Apukka Gold Rush Experience in Rovaniemi
(Subject to Option Inclusions)During this activity, your guide will give you a full demonstration of the traditional way of mining using authentic pieces of equipment. As we learn about the history and legends of the Lapland Gold Rush and visit a gold prospector’s cabin, our guide will also teach you the proper technique of panning for gold. Can you find your share of Lapland gold? All the gold you find is yours to keep as a memory in a tiny glass bottle. We finish the experience by enjoying a hot cup of coffee and a traditional snack by the cosy heat of the campfire.

You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 45 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
Please arrive on time at the meeting point. The bus will leave exactly ont the given time. If you miss the pick up time we will not refund the excursion. The pick-up time from Rovaniemi city center (Korkalonkatu 32): 45 minutes before safari starting time. The pick-up from Santa Claus Village bus stop by the main road 30 minutes before safari starting time.

- If you arrive by your own car or other transportation, please arrive straight to address Tutkijantie 28. There is free parking in the area. Please arrive 20 minutes before activity departure time.
